Job Description:
Responsible for: The Accommodation Manager is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, operational management and financial performance of NCNW’s accommodation portfolio.
The role involves leading a team to deliver high quality living environments, ensuring compliance with regulations and enhancing beneficiary satisfaction to drive revenue growth and operational excellence.
Organisational Role:
NCNW is a multi-award-winning Halton based not for profit Community Interest Company (CIC) with a well-established track record and growing reputation for delivery and success. Our innovative ‘Wrap around’ project has developed through evaluation and professionalism, efficiency and successful implementation, whilst complimenting (not duplicating) the existing provision offered by statutory or voluntary agencies. We continue to focus on the social and personal needs of the single homeless and vulnerable people through our emergency accommodation service. We are continually developing our Mental Health support services within Halton, Warrington and the Liverpool City Region and neighbouring boroughs-as part of our strategy for long term sustainability.
Our aim is to provide the vulnerable and their communities a better chance of life, with the opportunity to develop and improve their life skills and mental health. This is achieved through an effective integrated suite of services delivering emergency accommodation and mental health support whilst progressing through an accredited training package to support beneficiaries with their tenancies.
About the job:
To manage the accommodation and maintenance department to ensure the delivery of effective accommodation services by:
- Analyse market trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the growth, sustainability and finance of the accommodation department.
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of multiple accommodation sites, ensuring smooth and efficient functions.
- Line manage and support a strong staff team for continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Monitor and improve occupancy levels, revenue and expense management.
- Responsible for all compliance to include Health and Safety, Licences, Landlord Compliance and Revenue.
- Liaise and cultivate partner relationships with providers, Local Authorities, contractors and all stakeholders.
- Maintain high levels of beneficiary satisfaction and retention.
- Oversee the maintenance, cleaning and all other operational services ensuring high quality living standards.
- Manage budgets, forecasts and financial reporting for all of the accommodation portfolio.
- Identify and implement opportunities for improvement, refurbishment and expansion.
- Lead, motivate and develop the team.
- Support alongside the team with covering on call and late evening rotas.
