Finding clarity after feeling completely lost
“Counselling helped me accept some of the things I cannot change.”
After finishing previous counselling, Mark was referred to NCNW at a time when he felt very lost and unsure of his direction. Although the first counsellor was not the right match, a change in counsellor became a turning point. With the right support, Mark began to feel listened to and supported. Over time, counselling helped him improve his mindset and begin accepting things outside of his control.
Rebuilding confidence after years of trauma
“Counselling helped me see things more positively and believe in myself again.”
Kim came to counselling carrying years of unresolved trauma, bullying, and personal loss. Before starting therapy, she felt insecure, self-critical, and under constant pressure to be perfect. With consistent counselling support, Kim was able to explore her thoughts safely, gain new perspective, and build confidence. Over time, she noticed improvements in her mindset, relationships, and ability to cope with daily life.
From anxiety and scepticism to balance and clarity
“It helped my mental wellbeing and gave me clarity on aspects of my life.”
Steve came to NCNW during a period of personal challenges, including issues at home and the breakdown of a relationship. Before counselling, he felt anxious, nervous, and unsure what to expect. Through a warm and genuine counselling approach, Steve began to shift his perspective, becoming more aware and balanced. While he still experiences low moods, he no longer feels alone and has developed healthier ways to cope.
