Our Supported Accommodation Referral Process

The First Step Towards A Fresh Start

Arranging supported accommodation requires trust. Our process is transparent and safeguarding-led. We work closely with beneficiaries to ensure every placement is safe, appropriate, and respectful of the individual’s needs and goals. We are currently accepting referrals for single people, aged 18+, in receipt of Universal Credit, who are looking for accommodation

Submit a referral

Complete our secure online form - If you need help, our team can guide you through it. Your referral will be added to our waiting list and we will try and contact you as soon as possible

Needs & risk assessment

Once your referral has been logged and reviewed, our dedicated accommodation team will invite you in for a risk assessment to identify the right support level. A police check will need to be carried out before accommodation is offered

Referral Acceptance

We confirm suitability and availability, agree a move-in date, and share the initial support plan and house expectations.

Welcome & integration

On arrival, you are warmly welcomed into your new home. Our team gives you a clear introduction, the right resources, and consistent support to help you settle quickly and begin your recovery journey with confidence.

Moving On - NCNW will support you every step of the way to get back on your feet

NCNW offers accommodation for up to two years. During this time we strive to support you in successfully gaining your own tenancy and assisting you in overcoming any related issues
